The waterfront has seen several new luxury buildings added in the last few years, including the Intercontinental and Battery Wharf.  Continuing hi end sales in these and other luxury buildings have contributed to the uptick in median price and increase in the number of units sold.

Compared to 2009 properties are:

 - Selling for more: Median price is up 10.16% to $705,000. Median price per square foot down 2.76% to $579.95

- Time on the market before going under agreement: Up slightly from 133 to 145 days.

-  Available inventory comparable to last year

- Units sold up 16.67% to 133.
